About The Back Porch Show
Ever
wonder where that there sock disappeared to last time you washed
your clothes? Ever contemplate that hat you lost when you stuck
your head out the window of your friend's car to dry your face?
Yeah? Me too.
To be
successful you must approach everything as a ninja; stealthy,
silent and unobtrusive to all of your surroundings. You must study
the nature of the Beast in order to conquer the Evil. Keep
thinking, work hard, and create change.
Mitchell Keller was born in Oregon , and spent most of my earlier
teen years learning the ropes of broadcasting and reporting. I
ended up starting a small marketed radio program called ‘Late
Nights with Mitchell Keller' showcasing music from Country music.
After about 3 years it landed me to bigger and better places,
landing the position of national and international radio
personality of The Back Porch Show.
Mitchell had worked as a editorial reporter for Kontry Music
Networks about 2 years ago writing and interviewing
singer/songwriters. Mitchell is the younger of two boys raised by
Casey and Nancy Keller. His father worked as the Head Man for some
big lumber companies in the Northwest.
His
oldest brother, Andrew, followed in the steps of the real cowboy.
When Mitchell was asked about some of the success he's had, as a
promoter for some indie/major acts, he said "I definitely have to
give the credit to everybody. Except to some of those singers
who've told me I can't do it. I can be sitting in math and think,
what time are The Warren Brothers calling tonight?
That's
why I commit myself to this 7 days a week. To get somewhere in
life, you have to believe you can do what you want. When you add
those two lessons together, the results can be amazingly
powerful!" In my spare time I like to write articles, talk with
independent musicians and the world they live. I still dabble in
music a bit, and am always up for some good live music.
"Some
of my favorite inspirations of music include; David Frizzell,
Shelly Fairchild, Tim Schneider and many more. I like to listen to
artists like; Jedd Hughes, Faith Hill, Rodney Crowell, Willie
Nelson, Bleu Edmonton, April Taylor, K Wilder, Craig Jacks, Tom
Lang, Kelly Lang, and many more!"
